I’m Ian Turner, long term internet addict, erstwhile SEO and occasional thinker.

I’m a great fan of the punk band X-Ray Spex, hence the title of this blog, which is a line from the track Identity that sort of sums up my views on fashion and people with a follower mentality. I like people who can and will think for themselves and whose attitudes, style and thoughts are not dictated by corporate marketing machines, the mainstream media or their peers.

Whether I like someone doesn’t depend on what they think and I often like people who I disagree vehemently with, if I can see that their heart is in the right place.

You may also find that the grammar and spelling in this blog is not of the very highest standards, expected by some - but hopefully I’ll get across what I mean to say.
